Posted February 10, 2020 07:13:18A few months ago, I bought a lemon cake at a local bakery.
I had never tried lemon cake before, but I was a big fan of lemon and wanted to try it, so I decided to try to recreate it.
I have a lemon-infused dessert cake recipe that I’ve been using for a while.
However, the recipe was so simple, I figured I could figure out a way to make it taste better.
The result was a cake that tasted like a lemon pie filling.
It’s also one of my all-time favorite cakes, which I’ve shared here in the past.
I used fresh lemon juice instead of lemonade because it was cheaper, and it’s not that expensive to buy fresh lemon fruit.
So, I went ahead and created my own lemon cake recipe.
I was so excited when I made it!
My lemon cake is the perfect way to use up leftover lemonade or juice from lemonade stands.
I’ve also included a simple lemon cake filling, but it’s super easy to use the lemon juice from the cake itself.
My recipe calls for the following ingredients:2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 eggs 1/3 cup milk 1/8 teaspoon baking powder 1 cup milk lemon juice1/4 cup milk2 cups unsalted butter2 tablespoons sugar 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract1 cup fresh lemon zest2 tablespoons lemon zesting3 tablespoons lemon juiceI also used fresh lemons in the lemon cake, and I’ve made it a couple of times already.
I just use half the lemon and half the water.
I like to add lemon juice in the top to help the lemon taste even better.
I also use some lemon flavorings for the cake, like maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla.
